Quality inservice
Use of the Digest with the pre-/post-test meets CHAP and JCAHO inservice requirements and criteria set by the Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA)
It addresses an aide-level topic and is reviewed by a panel of home health aides, to make sure content is relevant and readable.
Conditions of Participation
HCFA regulations allow use of self-study continuing-education materials as part of inservice training if the materials:
- Are reviewed for timeliness and pertinence to the home health field by a registered nurse who has at least two years of nursing experience.
- Are applicable to paraprofessional staff.
- Include learning objectives and a means to assess learning, such as a pre-/post-test.
The Digest helps you meet these requirements six times a year.
Every issue offers a professional pre-/post-test (free with 10 or more subscriptions).
